On 1 July 2005, we began our yearling preparation.  Compared to other
studs, this may seem early but it has enabled us to increase the
work/nutrition ratio slowly and steadily.  We are extremely pleased with
the progress they are making, so is our nutritionalist from Saracen Horse
feeds.  Lizzie has been a great help to us advising on ration intake and
setting up the Gro-trac system so that we can weigh and measure each
yearling every two weeks.  We think the results speak for themselves.
